| Brangus Cattle |
| These are excellent examples of cattle possessing the qualities we look for in our Brangus females: deep bodies, maternal abilities, and structurally correct. |
Three Brangus females were purchased from Dave and Katie Schubert of Crystal Springs, MS. Using these three females, and a breed up program utilizing Three-Quarter blood bulls and purebred Brahman bulls, we began the breeding program of Brangus cattle at GLB Farms. Brangus cattle are an American breed. They were developed at the Louisiana State University experiment station in New Iberia. The combination of 3/8ths Brahman and 5/8ths Angus excels in the Southeastern climate. Their ability to perform in extreme heat and resistance to external parasites make Brangus cattle an extremely efficient breed. Their fertility and carcass merit also make them the productive breed of choice. International Brangus Breeders Association |
